Six Qualities You Should Look For In Your Wedding Vendors

Having a good vendor team is critical to having a beautiful wedding and allowing your special day to flow smoothly. The key to having a flawless wedding is having an amazing wedding planner as they will be the root to every aspect of your big day.

Below I have included six qualities that are important to consider when researching vendors.

I. Price- Creating a budget is one of the first steps for couples when planning their wedding. Most couples typically have a specific amount of money they can afford to spend on each vendor. Its important when searching through different vendors to pay close attention to their pricing and make sure it meets your budget.

II. Availability- Its crucial to check each vendors availability especially if your wedding lands during the busy season. If you have your heart set on a vendor make sure to book them as soon as possible.

III. Review- We live in a world where the internet is at our finger tips. It is vital to check reviews and make a personal decision if that vendor will work for you.

IV. Responsiveness- As your wedding day gets closer, you will likely be communicating with your vendors more often. You will want to make sure that any vendor you choose will respond back to you in a timely fashion. It will be difficult to know your vendor’s responsiveness by looking at their website, but you can learn a lot from a vendor’s reply to your first interaction with them.

V. Style- Most couples often look at photos of a wedding vendor’s work to help them make a decision. Now a days we have social media platforms, in particular look to see if they have a Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest which are great applications for show casing photos. Taking the time to do your research will insure the tangible items that will be provided such as photo’s, cake, flowers, decor, and much more match your style and expectations.

VI. Location- You will want to find vendors who work near your wedding venue location. While it’s totally okay to bring in vendors from other cities be aware that you will likely have to pay travel fees, accommodations, and more.
