Making Bride & Groom Portraits Important

When you are celebrating your 25th wedding anniversary with your husband, you will most likely sit down together and reflect back on your wedding day, as you look at your photo album full of memories. The one thing that couples sometimes wish they gave more attention to was their photographs as a couple. It’s so important to give the right amount of time to this part of your day and not rush your photographer through this process.

Make sure that you choose a good venue that will allow for your photographer to get a great amount of photos for you to remember for the years to come. Read my blog post titled Choosing the Perfect Venue, where I detail all the things to consider when picking the perfect site for your wedding ceremony and reception.

Another way to save time is to have your photographer take some shots before the ceremony, especially the ones with your girls and your parents! They can also be ready and prepared for the photos of your groom with his guys and his parents! Check out my blog post on The First Look where I share how many couples are opting to see each other for the first time in a private moment with each other. This moment can be captivated with your photographer nearby. If you did choose to do a first look this will give you the opportunity to have photos before of just the two of you and after when the sun is setting to get that perfect glow.

Having the bride and groom portraits I think is one of the most important aspects of the day. That is what it is all about anyways, the two of you becoming one and joining in love. So don’t you want that captured? Don’t you want those photos that you will always remember and love for years to come? Make sure you put aside that valuable time to capture these wonderful memories!
