There are times when a man and a woman cross paths and instantly they know they have found someone special. Unfortunately for Jessica and Dan, it took a few of those encounters before they sealed the deal! They met not once, not twice but three times before they decided to make things happen!
This sweet couple first worked together and then they met a second time when they both attended UC Santa Cruz and after six years of being apart, they crossed paths one last time while Jessica was working at a restaurant in San Ramon. Dan instantly knew who Jessica was when he noticed the birth mark that he had once seen before. They flirted, as they shared their love for the Tolken and the Hobbit. Dan mentioned that he wanted to go see the Hobbit but he didn’t want to go alone and Jessica said to him “Am I going to have to ask you out?” and then she told him she would go with him.
As they got to know one another a little deeper, Jessica knew that Dan was special when he could distinguish a special type of bird. You see, Jessica works at the Lyndsay Museum where many different types of birds are displayed and where she has trained a beautiful Hawk named Fire for the last six months! It only seemed right that Fire would be the ring bearer to fly in their rings to them on their wedding day!
Their wedding was so beautiful, held at The Ranch at Little Hills in San Ramon, California. Jessica arrived in the 1969 Volkswagen that was restored by Dan and his good friend! The car meant so much to them as this was the car that his father drove when he was Dan’s age. Their wedding ceremony was so sweet and the couple was surrounded by many family and friends in celebration of their union of love! Congrats Jessica and Dan, I am so happy for you!
