I absolutely love to learn the story of how my clients first meet and it’s even sweeter to find out how nervous a couple can be just before their wedding proposal happens. Joe was so excited to propose to his girlfriend that when he ordered the ring, it was set to be delivered in three days. For Joe, every day felt like an eternity… He was so nervous and began to feel all types of ways inside, so he called on the father figure in his life to check and make sure that what he was feeling was normal. His father chuckled, and said “Yes”.

Joe had arranged a dinner with his family for taco night where he invited Le-Aishah over as well. She came as she did on other occasions so it was a normal night for her but she had no idea that the night would end differently. As they were getting ready to eat, a family member asked  Joe to grab an item from the fridge in the garage, so Joe asked Le-Aishah to help him. Meanwhile, the entire family knew what was about to happen! As they were standing in the garage, Joe began to talk about random things (his nervousness was kicking in) and she was feeling a little brisk in the cold garage and she wanted to go in but Joe told her “I don’t want to go in yet.” So he continued to talk about randomness and then he opened up about how much he loved her and wanted to make a commitment to her. As soon as he put his hands in his pocket to pull out the ring, Le-Aishah was wrapping her arms around him hugging him! She was so ecstatic and happy!!

Moments later, Joe said to her “You didn’t give me an answer yet” and Le-Aishah who was overwhelmed with her happiness answered, “Oh yeah, Yes!!”
