When it comes to proposing to the woman of your dreams, some men have it all planned out in their mind of what they will do. For others, they discover their magical moment along the way. For my couple Corina and Steven, he knew exactly what he was going to do! He had a splendid idea that he was going to propose to Corina on the beach with the beautiful scenery behind them as he slipped his grandmother’s wedding ring on her finger and asked Corina to marry him! However, when he received the engagement ring, his excitement and anticipation was too much for him to bear and he couldn’t wait that long to ask her. So he decided he would propose that very day!

Steven’s plan B was to fill the backyard with one hundred candles but he was bummed when the weather report was showing a chance of rain. So Steven decided to bring the proposal indoors as he filled their home with one hundred candles and he decorated the house to set the mood for this momentous occasion. As Corina walked in the door coming home from work, she found Steven down on his knee and he asked her to marry him! Talk about a surprise!!

Corina and Steven got married this past week at Calistoga Ranch, an Auberge Resort that is located just off the Silverado Trail in Calistoga, CA. This venue is a luxurious resort with beautiful oak trees surrounding this 157-acre property which is so beautiful and timeless. The ceremony was held in the beautiful outdoors that set the backdrop for some amazing photographs! Congratulations to the happy couple!
