Emma and William met nearly four years ago during a bocce ball event that they both attended. After dating for a few years, William knew that Emma was the love of his life and he couldn’t wait for the moment to ask Emma to be his wife! As they traveled to Lake Tahoe in July, William took Emma to a lookout spot with a breathtaking view of the lake and it’s beautiful landscape surroundings. Emma had no idea that this trip would change her life forever. As soon as William started mentioning  to Emma, “we need to be at certain places at certain times”, she had a feeling something was coming. 

As William and Emma said goodbye to their friends that they were with on the trip, he lead her out to the lookout spot. Meanwhile, William planned for Emma’s best friend to be at the lookout spot with a camera in hand, ready to document this special moment! William was a little nervous when he went to the first lookout spot and couldn’t find her best friend, so he led them both to the next lookout spot and in the corner of his eye, he saw her friend! He knew that this was the moment and the place! William then got down on his knee to ask Emma to marry him and she said, “I knew it!” After she said yes, her friend came out of hiding and they met back up with all of their friends to celebrate!
