A Trip to See Family

FILED IN: Tips

When life get’s busy and my calendar fills up, the next opportunity I have I travel and spend time with my family. This last week I was privileged to do just that where I was able to visit some of my family in Texas as I embarked on an important trip to Baton Rouge. When I arrived in Texas my brother Jeremy and his beautiful wife Nancy with their first born daughter Bella greeted me with so much love. It was so amazing to see how much my niece Bella has grown and to witness the growth in all of her bubbly personality. In my last blog post about Isabella, I talked about how she was a bundle of joy and she really is!

We hosted a great big breakfast for the family including my uncle Tim and aunt Laurie, who drove in from Southern California. When they saw Bella they fell instantly in love. I had no idea how much my uncle loves babies until that day. That evening we had dinner with our great big family and it was so nice to get together and learn about what everyone has been up to in the last few months. We don’t always talk everyday but when we see each other, we pick up right where we left off! Later on during the trip, we had the opportunity to travel to different venue sites as research for future photograph locations for brides and clients. This research trip gave me the opportunity to take a mini photo shoot of the beautiful Bella and her parents and abuela. She’s such a happy baby! I was also able to do about 5 other photo shoots on this trip as well, I feel so honored that they wait for the next time I am out in that area to get their photos taken. Even from people that I never have met before. It is such a humbling feeling to know that people appreciate my photography.
