There are times in our lives when we find ourselves in places far from home not expecting that our next moments will lead us to meet the love of our life. Jiamin travelled thousands of miles across lands and seas, from China to Michigan where her fate brought her to meet Ricky. They instantly connected and after dating for some time Jiamin knew that their relationship was getting ready to take the next step. As the couple traveled to visit the Napa Valley wineries, Ricky proposed to Jiamin and she said yes! They were engaged for a little over a year and this past weekend they made their commitment to one another.
All of their family and friends traveled from all over the world to witness Jiamin and Ricky exchange their vows at the Valley of the Moon in Glen Ellen, California. The wedding ceremony was exquisitely beautiful at this breathtaking venue that was one of the first wineries built in the Sonoma Valley nearly 150 years ago. The views were incredible with the hills and vineyards that crafted the perfect landscape for this celebration of love. It was such an added touch to the ceremony when Jiamin and Ricky partook in a Chinese tradition by serving tea in a gaiwan to both sides of parents, symbolizing the moment when both families become one in this union of marriage.
