Molly & Blake’s Wedding

FILED IN: Wedding

I could not resist! I mean it is my very good friend’s wedding after all and I know that I am her maid of honor but when your a photographer you just can’t walk all the way away from your camera. I told you that they did not say anything about before or after the wedding hehe.

My very good friend since I was four years old just got married. Molly and I have shared so many memories, went through all kinds of ups and downs, and have always been there for one another. Not to mention we were considered twins since our names are very similar…but we look nothing alike. Everyone still to this day mixes us up and a few people thought I was the one getting married lol. It’s ok if you are reading this and you were one of them, I totally understand, it’s just funny. This is probably the happiest I have ever seen her, I can think of a few but this one trumps them all. I can not express how happy I am for her and Blake! They truly are such a happy couple, I love when they glance at each other and smile. Its so sweet! I love you both very much and I wish the best for you!

On another note, I think that I and the other bridesmaids have to be some of the best there is.  Molly knew that her wedding was going to be pretty late and they were not going to be able to get very many photos during the day since her wedding started at 3pm and the sun sets early in the winter (5pm) so I told her about a few ideas in my mind that we could do. I didn’t expect us to actually put up the lights lol, the day before the wedding we hung all of the lights in her backyard. I am so glad that we did though because these photos only happen once in a life time and I mean look at them, it was worth it! I had such a great time being her maid of honor, it is a very different point of view from just being a photographer. The maid of honor wears all kinds of hats, I loved it and would totally do it all over again!
