It wasn’t quite what they were expecting for their destination wedding…but it turned out better than they could have imagined! Jennifer and Joe arrived a few days before their wedding in the beautiful but rainy valleys of Napa. They heard that we have been in a drought for the past few years and were not expecting rain during their trip. This is the most it has rained in a few years. With Jennifer’s exciting and adventurous spirit she looked on the bright side of everything. It was so amazing how the rain suddenly disappeared as we were about to begin taking photos and WOW could you have asked for a more miraculous scene than with the clouds rolling over the hills in the distance. It was so beautiful and if it had not rained they wouldn’t have had that amazing effect. Everything happens for a reason I always say. If something bad happens something good always comes from it, whether it is the weather, the way you look at life, or your spirit. You always have that opportunity to grow.
Jennifer and Joe are amazing people, they have so much joy and love. They both have a carefree and outgoing spirit. I loved when ever Jennifer would say “Why not”, why not get married in the beautiful vineyards of Napa, why not have a dress that is perfect with your personality, why not enjoy life. I loved it! I absolutely loved photographing them! I can’t tell you enough Jennifer and Joe how much a enjoyed capturing your first day as husband and wife! I am so happy for you both!!

This was a very special piece of jewelry that Jennifer’s grandmother gave her mom and her mom gave to her for her wedding day. Jennifer said that she was the sweetest grandma you could ask for and was gone too soon. Such a beautiful gift to have so close to you on your wedding.
The Chanticleer Winery has such an amazing view!
